Lindsay Cameron6 years ago I began practicing yoga due to a back injury. My first class was extremely eye opening. I knew immediately that this practice was healing and something I needed to continue. 1 year later I applied for a 200hr training in Halifax NS where I studied Vinyasa Flow (Baron Baptiste Power Yoga). During that year I heard of a place called Kripalu. A mentor highly recommended I apply for the Ayurvedic and Yoga program Kripalu offered. I ended up studying there for 1 year during which I met Dr.Lad. I called my mom that day and said “I’m moving to New Mexico to study with this man”. Sure enough I packed my bags and drove for 6 days to reach Albuquerque. While here I studied 2 years at the Ayurvedic Institute studying natural medicine and completed a 300hr certificate in Ayur-Yoga. Which led me to be a student at New Mexico’s School of Natural Therapeutics, where I studied massage and various healing modalities.
I love practicing and leading yoga classes; it’s my passion. The styles I teach are a mix of Ayur-yoga, Vinyasa, Restorative and chair yoga. I blend the healing principles of Ayurveda into each class because every day will be different, each season, month and day brings about a new energy therefore no class can be the same!
